Understanding the Basics...Part 2

Things no longer taught in our Churches and Synagogues....

~written from the common sense perspective of The Winds of the Soul~

by Dr. Gregory C.D. Young, Ph.D.(Oxon.)

to the book

The succinctness and beauty of this message is abundantly clear to any who have the honesty of heart to investigate.  The so called "hidden" concepts within the First Commandment, as illustrated last month, only remain hidden to those who do not wish "to see."  Such a truth can only be ignored by those that refuse to allow such a wonderful doctrine to penetrate their hearts, allowing the things of the world to compete and overcome their sensitivities to the teachings of His Spirit.

As revealed in the last newsletter, learning that the First Commandment has a deeper hidden and more powerful meaning than what many of us have grown accustomed can be a little disconcerting, if not challenging.  Most Judeo-Christians realize that "Faith" is a process that continues to ask us more of us each day we profess our faith.  Yet, some of us grow uncomfortable with these things, feeling that we're satisfied with where we are and really don't want to change the status quo of our belief system, rationalizing that others must surely be wrong.

Indeed, when the directions from the Lord prove increasingly more personal, requiring greater degrees of honesty and introspection, we may find ourselves wishing to dismiss such understanding (as well as the messenger) because it questions the status and position of the entirety of our belief system.  But when we shut the door by making such excuses, we simply testify of our own unwillingness to learn and become transformed by the Lord's teachings.

For those that find these things disconcerting, I make no apology; except to point out that these in particular seem to be forever satisfied with the superficial and the mundane of religious trappings and ceremonies, growing more comfortable within their own rationalizations that surely they will meet the "passing grade" at Heaven's door..., even though they have never really studied or even feigned an intention that came close to personally understanding the syllabus.

To be sure, the succinctness and beauty of this message is abundantly clear to any who have the honesty of heart to investigate.

Most simply, we must learn to listen for and follow the direction and pleasure of this Seed-Pattern (i.e., His Voice) within us, even the Winds of our Soul which influence has already been endowed upon the children we used to be.  Otherwise, choosing to foil His Intentions by our misappropriated will, His Spirit will not awaken within us according to His Command.  His Means are then kept from breaking forth within us, their directives to unfold His Will within us being thwarted, the opportunity to refashion us in every way after the order of His Pattern stalled.

The wonder of the revealing nature of the First Commandment, and how it is specifically directed for our personal instruction containing the breadth, width and depth of the Gospel itself, is what makes it the Greatest Commandment.  It directly reveals the Lord's matchless love and sacrifice for His children, giving us a literal roadmap of how we are to become what the Lord has intended..., having so meticulously created for us the very path on which we are to travel to find success in our journey back to Him.

As we are reminded, the entirety of the law and the prophets hang on the basis of the First Commandment.  In other words, the legitimacy and reason for the Law and the Prophets rests within the understanding of the First Commandment; namely that the Lord's Seed placed within us and kept from spoilage through the Atonement of Christ, is only truly activated within us by our sincerely and continually desiring His Goodness more than anything else in life.

The First Commandment embodies the glorious Will of God, directing us to humbly accept the fact that only with Him and by Him and through Him can we attain to His Salvation.  "Him," in this regard, is equal to, or clearly and emphatically means here:  "His Name," "His Seed Pattern," "even the Spirit of Christ."  And thus we can not attain to Heaven's standard of perfection except it be through and by the Name of the Son, even Jesus Christ, the designated Seed-Pattern of Heaven.

His Directives are then kept from breaking forth within us, His Means given to unfold His Will within us being thwarted, the opportunity to refashion us in every way after the order of His Pattern stalled.

While in strict accord to His own Word, He cannot transgress the free agency He has given man, and thus, only with our consensus can the powers of Heaven finish the intention of the Creation, namely to make man after the image of God through the means of His Seed-Pattern within us.  This is the raison d'être for its very purpose, the very reason it has been given... the individualized mechanism by which the blessings of the Atonement are awakened personally within us.  It's just that important, the very reason for the Creation itself, and thus..., most importantly...., our personal allowance and permission of this activity will have direct and intimate bearing on us in the Day of Judgement.  If we don't allow such to take place within us, our redemption just won't happen, and we will forfeit this blessing to our eternal shame.

But many of us don't really understand how the judgement will take place in that day of reckoning, while still others refuse to believe that it will take place at all.  Some, too, believe that our final judgment will be akin to handing in one's golf scores, with the notion of the least number of recorded strokes or "sins" wins, as if all of this is a competition of some sort.  These would have you believe that those who sin least will be preferred over those that sin more, as if "numbers" had anything do with it..., beside which, it then nullifies the entire notion of Heaven's Forgiveness.  Indeed, as I have stated in the Winds of Forgiveness:

Page 2

And so it will be that those of us who have sincerely and affectionately accepted His Light within us, and have learned to joyously allow its resonance to have full sway within our hearts and minds, will have come to bear the consequent and identifying Spiritual imprint of His Name and Seal within us—a Spiritual Emblem designating that our legitimate lineage is of Him, showing forth the fruit of His Seed and Atonement—and subsequently be welcomed into Heaven as beloved family members.

"In the end, I believe that how well we do here, or how we will be judged and forgiven by Heaven is directly and intimately related to the degree and to the extent that we’ve allowed His Name to have place within us. Specifically, Heaven’s Judgment and Forgiveness has everything to do with how much we have allowed His Name, even the sacred Seed-Pattern, to become a living part of us. In other words, the Lord purely wishes to measure how much we have sincerely restored the children we used to be to their rightful place and to what proportion we have since allowed His Pattern to awaken and remake us after His Divine Image, becoming inseparably connected with our own identity—so that He may be in us, and we within Him and the Father. Most simply, Heaven looks to see if the Seed has taken root and given fruit within us. Indeed, this is the most important measure of Heaven to be performed upon us, the most important judgment that it will ever make upon our lives; all other concerns becoming subordinated.

"And so it will be that those of us who have sincerely and affectionately accepted His Light within us, and have learned to joyously allow its resonance to have full sway within our hearts and minds, will have come to bear the consequent and identifying Spiritual imprint of His Name and Seal within us—a Spiritual Emblem designating that our legitimate lineage is of Him, showing forth the fruit of His Seed and Atonement—and subsequently be welcomed into Heaven as beloved family members.

"But for those of us who have chosen differently through sly equivocation, denial, and obduracy—who summarily rejected the healing transformations of His Light so freely offered us throughout this life, and willfully, if not pugnaciously, denigrated His Voice found resonating upon the Winds of our Soul—we will be looked upon as strangers who knew not the Master’s Voice, since we carry no evidence or proof that we have ever sought for Him, ever found Him, nor ever served nor joined with Him, having never allowed His Seed to have place and take root within us.

"For how could His Seed have ever taken hold, increased, or enriched us when we have never known or obeyed His Voice, neither taken refuge in His Spirit or embraced the brooding ruminations of His Name and Spiritual impressions seriously within us, nor ever taken the time to affectionately listen to Him, to learn of Him, or even follow His Directions? How could we think

Page 3

And then in the moment of this realization, to those of us who have deliberately frustrated and denied the place and work of the Seed-Pattern within us—who subsequently do not bear the fruition of His Pattern, Seal, and Hallmark—He will utter, "Though you should be joined to me, even in my very bosom, and keep not my commandments, I would cast you off and say unto you... I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." {2 Clement 2:15 (Apocrypha) and Matthew 7:23 (KJV)} These are sobering realities which cannot be rationally dismissed....

that we would be acceptable to Him after we have proven that we were continually ashamed of the excellence of His Name, pridefully thinking His Means to be too lowly and beneath us and who held His Counsel in derision? How could we imagine that He would honor or even acknowledge us after we have willfully disallowed the children we used to be, even denied the very presence of the Spiritual Ark of God in which His Spirit was to reside—even the Wife of the Covenant of our Youth given to sojourn with us throughout our mortal life?

"And then in the moment of this realization, to those of us who have deliberately frustrated and denied the place and work of the Seed-Pattern within us—who subsequently do not bear the fruition of His Pattern, Seal, and Hallmark—He will utter, "Though you should be joined to me, even in my very bosom, and keep not my commandments, I would cast you off and say unto you... I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." {2 Clement 2:15 (Apocrypha) and Matthew 7:23 (KJV)} These are sobering realities which cannot be rationally dismissed....

"Lastly, some may question, as I confess I have sincerely done on many occasions, whether or not the things presented here in this book, as well as those things found in my first book, the Winds of the Soul, are not just fanciful reflections from my own imagination, made cumbersome by my awkward explanations. In fact, I cannot deny that these are simply my heart-felt opinions and ruminations as to how I see things and have come to believe, limited as that may be. But, in contrast to those who may have woefully mistaken that all revelation and prescience has ceased and need not be anymore, as if God has ceased to work and reveal His Will among the children of men, I have come to realize that there are many things still to be revealed from Heaven, and from my Savior Jesus Christ, that I have yet to understand—of which the mystery of things would far outstrip any wonders and theodicean acumen presented so far or that which is presently contained within my paucity of understanding. Still, in all honesty and despite my many personal limitations and variances, I do not believe that any grain of Goodness and perspicacity of Spirit as I believe is represented and found herein could possibly be a construction or creation from my own mind alone. I believe that these things are far too grand, far too beautiful, far too wonderful to be only of my own invention or presumption. That I have labored in attempting their explanation and written them down, and wished that I was more skilled in doing so, I cannot deny. But despite my failings, the power of insight, understanding, and interpretation must be from Heaven, or so I would humbly suggest—for by myself, I could not possibly write such things. The "Goodness" of the Lord's doctrine portrayed in the Scriptures is itself a testimony of the Source and underlying Pattern of God from which it comes..., and I am its witness.  And yet, to explain these things further to those who love not, is but to give them even more plentiful material for their heartless misinterpretations and vulgarly parsed misunderstandings of the Truth.... For these, even the lucid explanation offered by St. John will not suffice:

Page 4

Accordingly, it may be surmised that our judgment will be only about how well we chose to follow the First Commandment throughout our life....meaning, how well we allowed His Pattern to have part with us.  After all, everything else we ever think about, or talk about, or do, rests first within this admonition..., recalling that the First Commandment is that which all the Law and the Prophets hang.  In other words, everything we appropriately enact within this life literally flows from our faithfully following the admonition of the First Commandment.

{1 John 2:16, 24-25, 27-28 (KJV)} 16. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.... 24. Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. 25. And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.... 27. But the anointing [of His Seed-Pattern] which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. 28. And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

{1 John 3:1-3, 9 (KJV)} 1. Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. 2. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.... 9. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit [or continue in] sin ; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot [continue in] sin, because he is born of God.

"So, let the reader judge as to the Goodness and loving intentions that are found displayed and unfolded herein.... See if the resonating Pattern of Goodness within your heart does not match the things that are said here, no matter the challenges that may then ensue. Be assured that you have the right and power to judge these things aright or not, all from within your own heart—but "judge righteous judgments," faithfully following His Pattern and never rejecting the Truth. For if these things are demonstrated to be Good and sweet within the mouth and heart, while proving to be loving and persuasive in their intent, no matter the presence or absence of religious denominationalism or some other umbrellaing rubric in our lives, then these must in some way be of God..., and you would have subsequently discovered that they are of Him since they reflect His Pattern. For without exception, all Goodness is of Him, of His Seed, of His Name, even the Name of the Son. Every time. And every Good thing that you learn to accept and thereafter nurture, will be saved, added upon and increased. Accordingly, I pray that His Spirit may so testify to you and yours, even the children you used to be and must become again.... ever and anon, Amen and Amen." (from the Epilogue)

Accordingly, it may be surmised that our judgment will be only about how well we chose to follow the First Commandment throughout our life....meaning, how well we allowed His Pattern to have part with us.  To what measure we have sincerely allowed His Pattern to be a part of us, that measure will determine how faithfully we have followed the First Commandment.  After all, everything else we ever think about, or talk about, or do, rests first within this admonition..., recalling that the First Commandment is that which all the Law and the Prophets hang.  In other words, everything we appropriately enact within this life literally flows from our faithfully following the admonition of the First Commandment.  Is this not then fair to look to see how much of His Name has been allowed to grow within us?  Is it not fair to see if His vine has brought forth such fruit?  Of course it is!  To be sure, what better measure is there but how much of His Pattern has grown to be strong and healthy within us?

Page 5

This epiphany leads us further along the road to reconciliation with His Spirit while turning to shun the egocentric influences of the world.  The continuing closeness with His Spirit then naturally instigates a clarity of vision that we haven't experienced before.  The more He becomes an evolving and unfolding part of us, the more in kind we see and understand through His Eyes and Heart the judgements and issues of the things before us.

For, to the extent that we earnestly allow His Seed-Pattern place within us, to that extent will our thoughts, words and deeds grow more Heavenly.  Thus, it is held that we cannot perform any Good thing without His Influence, without His Pattern and Template, which provides all direction as to things temporally and Eternally.  Only by such influence will our intentions and actions prove eventually fruitful and profitable by Heaven' standards.

And see this....  The more we allow His Seed-Pattern or Name to remain in the seat of authority within us, the more Goodly and blessed will become our activities.  Indeed, the more the influence from His Seed-Pattern, the more humble and childlike after the order of Heaven we become.  It's a natural part of the process laid down from the Foundation of the World.

So it follows that the more His Influence is allowed access, the more broken hearted and contrite we willingly become..., seeing these lowly characteristics now in a place of Honor and Light, becoming a place of refuge and safety within us.  Indeed, the more attractive and comforting His Countenance appears to us and the more attractive His Guiding Influence becomes, the more we come to recognize that His Ways of Goodness are indeed better, more desirable, more pleasurable, more peaceful than the ways of the world.

In consequence of our eyes becoming more opened to His Realities, our vision of things becomes clearer and more certain as we grow more reflective and introspective..., these prayful practices becoming more willingly practiced, necessary and needed.  This in turn leads us to keenly recognize the difference between His Goodness and our past sins, knowing more definitively how they are in discord with the ways of Heaven.

Subsequently, as these tidal influences change within us, as His Seed-Pattern us given more and more influence, we cannot help but begin to see the error of our earlier ways, charging us to willing and sincerely repent of our transgressions, causing us to happily turn away from our sins because we no longer desire them..., because we have realized that taking pleasure in them anymore is no longer possible as they result in bitterness alone, allowing them to die upon the vine now deprived of our sustaining affections.

But this awakening, though bringing joy from repentance, brings sorrow as the reality of our past sins strikes home.  Indeed, the Light brings the painful process of self-discovery and accountability for our past actions, which many Judeo-Christians would like to deny.

Here is where our mettle is really tested.  We will be invited by the revealing (and hence revelatory) powers of the Holy Ghost to begin the arduous process of reexamining our lives in His Light, and witness the activities of our sins and their respective negative repercussions like unwanted ripples upon a pond, which now stretch beyond our control.  We will witness with new found sensitivities and perspectives how our sins affected others and why the influences of darkness must be guarded against at all costs.  We will be invited to experience new levels of shame, personal accountability, regret and remorse, understanding and wisdom, that hitherto were beyond our pale.

This is not done so as to punish us, or cause us harm, but to enlighten us and prepare us, as a loving parent would, as to why our past sins are considered bad and not good, so as to strengthen us against future temptation and more thoroughly plow the ground for His Seed to make pure.  Indeed, it sets in order the House of God within us, instructing us as to why all things have happened to us or befallen us without previous understanding.  It finally gives us reasons for the perceived "messiness" and confusion of life, and the paths that were offered to us.  This is the beginning of having all our questions answered.  As previously noted in the Winds of Forgiveness:

"We may even experience the profound perplexities of Job—of whom God Himself declared as "a perfect and upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil." (Job 1:8) and yet still saw fit to subject his life to the most terrifying and ghastly invasions of fear that had ever befallen the worst transgressor—until we, like Job, may finally be brought to learn a profound lesson in life. Namely, "that which would be unfair to lay upon him as punishment, may yet be laid upon him as favour—by a love supreme which would give him blessing beyond all possible prayer—blessing he would not dare to ask if he saw the means necessary to its giving, but blessing for which, once known and understood, he would be willing to endure yet again all that he had undergone." (George MacDonald, Unspoken Sermons, "The Voice of Job," 1885)."

Most importantly, such a process also instructs us as to how impossible it is for us, by our ourselves alone, to right every wrong we've committed, to actually "pay for our sins" and turn back the tide of our actions..., and therefore, how essential His Atoning Intervention really is for us..., as His Power is the only one that can stay the unwanted ripples on our pond.  To see our own powerlessness in this regard from Heaven's perspective, makes us eternally thankful and appreciative for His Eternal Sacrifice.

But as sorrow-filled and humbling this experience may certainly prove to us, we are in parallel brought to see in the end of our lessons, the magnificence of His Manner alive within us, changing us from the old and fallen man to the one raised by the Lord's Hand, through which the fruit of Repentance and Forgiveness is gleaned by our saying, "Glory to the Heavens, for I am no longer that man that did that awful sin, no longer the person who would now consider such a thing as I did before, for I am no longer capable of doing it."

To be sure, His Will becomes more pleasurable and certain, more trusting and faithful than anything we've tasted before.  Indeed, the more of Him we magnify, the more pure and aligned with Heaven our interests become, directing us to the promised mercies of Forgiveness and His Everlasting Grace.... which propitiations are then desired more earnestly than ever before.

As I have previously reminded those interested in the Winds of Forgiveness....

"Forgiveness is an incremental process, a process which may take us longer at some times than others, depending upon how much we know of our faults and how humble we are to proceed in the learning of them. For some, like Mole and Ratty in The Wind in the Willows, Forgiveness can be as immediate in the giving as in the receiving, but only if all the personal steps have been successfully traversed. For most of us, it takes a little longer to gain the appropriate awareness as provided for and edified by the children we used to be. To make matters worse, the means to Forgiveness are sometimes lost to us through the haze of pride and the stumblings of ignorance when believing in the vain traditions of forgiving by forgetting, false innocence and feigned humility, and abstaining from judgments throughout life. But no matter the severity of our obstructions, and no matter how habitual they are, there is a way to be forgiven even when burdened with such handicaps. There is a way back which is easier than most know, or even dream about. Guidance can always be found within the Winds of the Soul. Through the purity of goodly feelings, His hand is always stretched out, always there for us when we seek for it. It is in the sincerity of our seeking that we will find His response, gently guiding us to the restoration of those we used to be when younger, those parts of us that experienced a special affinity for His Voice and were given the capacity to understand His language right from our very beginning. When we find that our feelings are perhaps not just "kid" stuff, and we begin to take this specific internal phenomenon more seriously, then will His help be shown to us, but no sooner. When we finally acknowledge that our feelings are more than just a causal emotional reaction of our biochemistry, more than just an unimportant casual phenomenon, more than some habit that has been sociologically acquired from which we must learn to free ourselves, then will we in turn be allowed to receive from its gifts, and approach the Heavens without fear of reproach or being upbraided.

The simplicity of this way guarantees that those that have had the intelligence to see the many values of a child-like countenance will have free access to His Kingdom. Ironically, we can never be spiritually mature or really know what it means to "grow up," without the balanced restoration of the children we used to be. Without them, and the Image of God they quietly manifest, we cannot understand the things and priorities of Heaven. All the worldly wisdom pales in comparison to the depths of understanding that is available to them and that which is made available through them.

"The simplicity of this way guarantees that those that have had the intelligence to see the many values of a child-like countenance will have free access to His Kingdom. Hence, we must see the need to reestablish our connections with them, and through them be born again into His Spirit before we can see the things they see and feel the things they feel. The process of becoming like a child again is simple, but we must leave our pride and willfulness behind. We don’t need to understand all the ins and outs of such a thing immediately, as all will be unfolded to us in His time and measure. All we need to do is to seek for Goodness and His sensitivities again within our life, coming unto Christ, allowing His Voice to be heard once again within us. Our exiled and fragmented little ones will become slowly reinstalled within us thereinafter, making it possible for our approach to God to be unfettered and humbled and sincerely repentant. As our histories are reexamined before us and we are brought to the attention of that which we need to be forgiven through repentance, our sins will be sent away from between us, allowing us to be restored to the people of His Intentions and Design.

"Parenthetically, it is interesting that "families" which are normally supposed to be comprised of close relationships, today fail to take advantage of helping each other in this capacity. One would think that being "close" to another would offer the advantage of honest and clear and helpful feedback to one another, especially in protecting and keeping us in touch with the sensitivities experienced during childhood. If any would be in a position to protect the children we used to be from decay and fragmentation, you would think that the family would be in the best place to promote our longevity. Who else is in such a trusted position of helping and care? This is not often the case, however. Instead, many families now simply support the doctrine of actively repressing the sensitivities of childhood, choosing to reinforce the blind-lying for one another with the feigned excuse that we’re being kind by protecting each other’s feelings, while establishing the deceitful and failed doctrine of "peace at all costs." As a consequence, we end up becoming further estranged from the sensitivities and tenderness established within childhood, growing to be ever more oblivious of our own sins, or indeed, happy and comfortable with them after all the years of familial reinforcement and distraction. Our faults may even become glamorized and actually acceptable within our small world, making it then ever more difficult for us to allow honest criticism to have any effect upon us, quashing and misdirecting any advent of inspired introspection and self-examination. Sadly, the family, instead of becoming a unit wherein our behavior and attitude can be honed and refined through the gentle but firm admonishments from our own hearts, can subtly force the abandonment of such awareness, becoming a pressure cooker which allows our garbage to be stewed and further ripened, keeping us away from ever knowing again the children we used to be. And each of us has suffered from these limitations differently, each of us reflecting this impact and scarring differently, each of us needing a specially designed means of healing and finding of Forgiveness that addresses these concerns and responsibilities personally.

"Accordingly, Forgiveness is the highly individualized path of our approach to God whereby our lost children are restored to our conscious awareness, which in turn allows His Spirit to instruct us personally and individually as to what we should do next. And because we are so individual in what we need in our instruction, because each of our histories are so different allowing us different means to learn and different lessons wherefrom we may learn, there can be no global, one-size-fits-all plan—no quick-fix, no recipe that can be quickly learned and replicated by rôte, no neat little plan that offers a defined number of "steps-to-forgiveness," no Tower of Babel which upon climbing will bring us closer to God. Forgiveness becomes a customized process for each of us, requiring different steps that specifically regards our individual differences and circumstances. This is a remarkably flexible process—quite miraculous when thinking of how each of us requires a different lesson plan that is fairly, mercifully, and efficiently designed to fit our particular circumstances in the best possible way. Indeed, it is just another indication of the Benevolence and Love that He has for every person that has ever been born, that each of us is seen and known by Him, no matter how impossible that may appear. Each of our individual needs are addressed in this loving and wise manner. Every peculiarity is regarded, so that every weakness may be made strong, and every possible generosity may be given to us.

"Yet, the Winds of Forgiveness, and the lessons that are offered to us for our spiritual benefit, can only be received from the sensitive countenance and understanding gleaned from the perspective of the children we used to be. We may attempt otherwise, for sure, but we will ultimately fail without the advantage of His Spiritual capacities so working and exercising within us. Remember, we cannot by ourselves manufacture some other vessel of our choosing to hold His instructions, or choose some other method by which His instructions will be given to us. We must, as He Commands, become as a little child for His Kingdom to come forth, and for us to be forgiven.

"This sentiment, no matter how trivial some have made it, is a reality that each must find. Having once been a child after the order of His Image, every one of us retains the rights and means to reintegrate these capacities, sensitivities, and authorities within us once again, and with them, the Seed-Pattern that carries His Name. We do not have to go outside ourselves to gain these afresh, or think that we have to hurriedly fabricate some facsimile in its place because He is asking for something that we cannot possibly supply. No matter how foreign or alien this may now seem to us..., rest assured..., everything we need still remains within us and simply calls out for us to exercise the privileges we have already been given. Although this is a labor that tries the heart and tests our fiber, we must remember that we are not called to run before we have learned to walk. Nothing needs to be rushed or done haphazardly. Everything will proceed in the needed and timely fashion that is best suited for our own personal development. Everything will be done and must be done according to His direction. He has made it to work just as simple and perfect as that." (from the Epilogue)

Again, all of this comes just by following the First Commandment of the Lord.  Just as in the orderly unfolding and smooth transitional process of nature's seasons, so too will we witness the change of seasons within us.  We may then witness from the very start of our initiation within this process, how His Influence grows to burgeoning prosperities of the Spirit bursting upon our consciousness..., level upon level of blessing being added upon by and through such desired obedience to His Commandment.  As the acorn draws nourishment from the soil, and transforms itself into the solid oak, so does His Seed-Pattern transforms us from the dust of the earth into a child of Heaven.  Nothing could be more in keeping with His Will.  That is the heart and purpose of the First Commandment....

So conversely, the less we allow His Influence to remain within us, the more dubious and sordid our lively actions will prove.  Some believe that not following His Influence is somehow without consequence, and we will remain just as who we are.  But that is just not true.  There is no treading water spiritually, no middle ground.  We're either swimming to shore, or we're drowning.  We're either embracing His Light, or Satan's darkness.  It's not surprising then that those who actively work against God's Influence and His Law, who willingly banish His Spirit and Voice from within them, likely prove to be about the works of Satan in this world.  These that have not allowed His Seed-Pattern any voice or place within them, or are currently on the road to willfully silencing such influence, are ruled by their own passions of self-indulgent lust and greed, self-centeredness and narcissism alone, one dark and self-deluding lie leading to another.  Though on the surface of things these may seem popular and intelligent, being hoisted into cultural favor and acceptance within academics, business and politics today, they are in fact the least wise amongst us, as they have sold the function of their souls just for moment in the spotlight and a bit of lucre from the world.

It's not hard to raise your head and open your eyes to see who is following what influence in the world today.  Truly, the goats are being separated from the sheep.  I trust they need no further labeling anymore....
